The company was founded in Lodz - a textiles city - and was one of many in the textile industry. The history of the development of PW BOWI-STYL is intertwined with the history of the collapse of the textile industry in Lodz, but thanks to accurate investment decisions it avoided the fate of many companies in this industry.

BOWI-STYL started to operate in 1986. Constantly modernized the available equipment and the use of cutting-edge technologies in the production of knitted fabric gave the company a strong position among Polish manufacturers. By constantly developing the range of knitwear products, the firm managed to arouse interest and to cooperate with well-known garment manufacturers and producers of the furniture industry.
